On the afternoon of May 9th, 2019, the Management Board of IUV had a meeting with Osan University, Kookmin University and KPC University Korea Supportivity Center (Korea Productivity Center) from Korea.
Participants of the parties include: Representing IUV, there are Mr. Tran Le Dung – Chairman of the BOD, Dr. Tran Manh Ha – Acting Rector and heads of departments; Korea University has: Mr. Hur Nam Youn – Rector of Osan University, Ms. Lee Dong Eun – Vice Rector of Kookmin University and Mr. Don Han representing KPC.
Osan University was established nearly 40 years ago, located near major industrial parks in Osan-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The university focuses on training industries and techniques with training methods combining theory with practice. The univeristy cooperates with businesses to train students according to their work needs. Students go to factories directly to practice, and after graduation have the opportunity to be accepted by businesses. This is also the method of training “Close the school university with businesses” of IUV. Because industries and training methods are similar, this will be a favorable premise for the two universities to cooperate and develop.
Kookmin University was founded in 1946 in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The university has more than 24,000 students, including 160 Vietnamese students / 2279 foreign students studying. This is one of the universities that are highly appreciated for the quality of training in Korea. Kookmin University has been cooperating with many universities and many large electronic corporations in the world. The motto of training is mainly about practice and practice. This is also consistent with the motto “Cooperation, standards, practices, humanities” of IUV.

Stemming from the similarities in the profession and the training guideline, the main content of the meeting was interested and heatedly discussed by the student exchange program. This will be a favorable condition for students to learn more knowledge as well as practical experience, integration and development.
At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on cooperation plans, exchanging students in the fields of hotel management, tourism, technology … This success is the basis, a favorable premise for the plan of cooperation and long-term development among universities
