In response to the request of job seeking and start-up support, on February 15, 2015, the Rector of Vinh Industrial University made a decision to establish a Job Introduction Office under the Center for Links and Training. Vinh Industrial University.
When it was first established, the office was located on the second floor of B building. At that time, there were only 05 cadres and employees of the New Job Introduction Department under the direction of 01 Center Director, Ms. Dang Thi Hang.
IUV Job Placement Office is a bridge between students and businesses, is a reliable place to advise students on employment, job skills and entrepreneurship.
In 2018, Vinh Industrial University officially became a partner of the V2WORK project “Strengthening the Vietnamese Higher Education System to improve graduates’ employability and entrepreneurship skills”, coordinated by Alicante University (Spain), lasting for 3 years (2018-2020) and by Lien’s Erasmus + Foundation. European Union funding.
Participating in the project are 3 universities in Europe (University of Alicante – Spain, University of Coimbra – Portugal, FH Joaneum – Austria), 11 partners in Vietnam (Ministry of Education and Training, VCCI – Ho Chi Minh City, Young Talent Solution Organization – AIESEC, The University of Da Nang, Hanoi University of Scien Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Social and Humannity, Nha Trang University, Tay Nguyen University, Tra Vinh University, Thu Dau Mot University and Industrial University of Vinh).
The main goal of the V2WORK Project is to increase the resources of the higher education system (HEIs) in Vietnam to improve the employment and job hunting skills of students after graduation, while strengthening the relationship. relationship between the two sides with the labor market. To do so, the Project will develop the capabilities of the member school’s career centers to help students build the necessary employment and entrepreneurial skills. This relationship development will help improve the quality of work for students.
